Department of innovative educational technologies and methodology

The Department of Innovative Educational Technologies and Methodology of the Faculty of English was headed by Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences, Professor Gulnoza Farrukhovna Boltakulova during the period 2022–2025. At present, the department operates under the leadership of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences Zebiniso Khaydar qizi Khamrayeva.

The department was established in accordance with the resolution of the Supervisory Board of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages dated August 28, 2022. Currently, the department employs 40 academic staff members, including 1 professor, 8 associate professors, 12 senior lecturers, 8 assistant lecturers, and 10 trainee lecturers. The average age of the academic staff is 35 years.

The department’s research focus is entitled “New Pedagogical Technologies and Linguo-Methodological Principles of Foreign Language Teaching,” within which the academic staff conduct scholarly research.

At present, the scientific capacity of the department составляет 24 percent.
