Health and Well-being Services at SAMSIFL
At Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages (SAMSIFL), ensuring the physical and mental well-being of our students, faculty, and administrative staff is a top priority. The institute offers comprehensive, accessible, and free healthcare and psychological support services across the campus.
1. Access to Physical Health-care Services
SAMSIFL operates an on-campus Medical Health Center dedicated to maintaining community health through preventive care and primary medical assistance.
Primary & Emergency Healthcare: Qualified medical professionals (physicians and nurses) are available on campus to provide immediate first aid, consultations, and treatment for basic health conditions.
Routine Medical Examination: Regular and mandatory medical check-ups are conducted annually for all registered students and university personnel at no cost.
Health Education & Awareness: The institute regularly organizes educational campaigns, workshops, and informational seminars focusing on healthy lifestyles, nutrition, disease prevention, and hygiene.
Clinical Referrals: When specialized care is required, the health center coordinates directly with regional state hospitals and medical institutions to ensure seamless patient referral.
2. Mental Health and Psychological Support Services
To foster a supportive and mentally healthy academic environment, SAMSIFL provides dedicated Psychological Counseling Services for both students and staff.
Confidential Individual Counseling: Qualified campus psychologists offer free, confidential, one-on-one sessions to address academic stress, personal challenges, anxiety, and adaptation issues.
Mental Health Workshops: Interactive training sessions on stress management, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and burn-out prevention are regularly offered throughout the academic year.
Integration & Adaptation Programs: Specialized psychological support programs are organized for first-year students to facilitate a smooth transition into higher education and campus life.
